- “The Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Mothers Art, Health and Wellness Group” had an Exhibition of Art Works, on the 29th June - 2nd July. It was held at the Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick. It was officially opened by Noreen Hay, the NSW Secretary for Health, on Sunday the 1st July.

New personnel at SSCA-MNC
Mr Osman Fofana came to Australia in 2003 from Guinea West Africa. He is originally from Seirra Leonne where he was employed by the Sierra Leone Government as an administrative officer. In his work for the government he was required to go to many places among government delegations.
He is a qualified translator and Interpreter for the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) in NSW.
He translates and interprets in the following languages French, Creole, Temne, Yalunka and SuSu. He also speaks french creole fluently and is currently available for bookings for clients needing assistance from organisations.
He has a wide range of experience as a volunteer at South Sydney Community Aid Multicultural Neighbourhood Centre assisting with program development for new and emerging African communities. We highly recommend him to all agencies requiring translating and interpreting services for their clients
