Community Safety - Morning Tea Sessions

The purpose of this project is to engage with local community members on issues regarding Community Safety. The tenants of the surrounding Department of Housing estates and residents of Redfern and Waterloo are invited to raise their issues and concerns regarding their safety in our community.

Previous guest speakers included our Chairperson Ed Everett, representatives from the Department of Housing, the Police, the Benevolent Society and the City of Sydney Council.  These speakers provide advice on safety, answer questions and look at and discuss many serious and important issues raised by the community about their individual and group safety concerns and experiences of living in our community.

We run community safety sessions for newly arrived migrants in our community on a yearly basis.

For more information please contact us.
